Crumbly moist sugar cookies

Measure Ingredient
¾ cup Butter
1 cup Sugar
2 \N Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2½ cup All-purpose flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Salt

Date: 2 Nov 1995 13:58:22 -0600 Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. Cream butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in sifted ingredients. Chill dough thoroughly (at least 2 hours). Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Roll dough, a segment at a time, to ⅛ inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 6-8 min. Be careful not to overbake.
