Creole shrimp pate'

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
¼ pounds Butter
3 tablespoons Lime juice
1 teaspoon Dried thyme
1 teaspoon Powdered sasafrass
1 Jalapeno pepper, seeded &
½ pounds Shrimp meat, coarsly
1 teaspoon Sugar

Melt butter in saucepan & stir in lime juice, thyme & sasafrass. Stir in jalapeno pepper & simmer for 5 minutes. Add shrimp meat & sugar.

Simmer & stir for 10 minutes. Butter a pate mold & fill with the mixture. Cool then chill. To serve: Unmold & arrange on a plate.

Serve with toast & raw vegetable slices.
