Creamy basmati rice pudding

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Cooked basmati rice
2 cups Milk
2 cups Half-and-half
¼ cup Currants
½ cup Honey
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
¾ teaspoon Cardamon
½ teaspoon Cinnamon
½ teaspoon Salt
5 tablespoons Arrowroot or cornstarch

In a medium saucepan, mix the arrowroot or cornstarch with the milk and stir until smooth. Mix in all the other ingredients. Stirring constantly, cook until moderately thickened (approximately 10 minutes). Remove from heat and cool, covered. Pudding will continue to thicken as it cools. Serve 4-5.
