Creamed spinach a la lawry's

2 | packs | Frozen chopped spinach; 10oz each; defrosted & drained |
4 | slices | Crisp bacon; finely chopped |
½ | cup | Onion; finely chopped |
2 | teaspoons | Garlic; chopped |
2 | tablespoons | Flour |
1 | teaspoon | Lawry's seasoned salt |
1 | teaspoon | Black pepper |
1 | cup | Milk |
1 | cup | Half-and-half |
Directions
Put spinach through a meat grinder or chop fine.
Fry the bacon in a heavy-bottom saucepan until golden brown. Add onion and cook until tender. Add garlic. Remove from heat. Add flour, salt and pepper. Blend thoroughly. Slowly add milk and half-and-half. Return to heat and stir until thickened. Add spinach and mix thoroughly. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
Makes about 4 servings.
