Cream of wheat dumplings

Ingredients

1Egg, separated
2tablespoonsButter, softened
3teaspoonsCream of wheat
1teaspoonFlour
1cupChicken livers, finely minced
¼teaspoonPepper
2Sprigs parsley, finely chopped

Directions

Combine egg yolk, butter, cream of wheat and flour,mix well. Beat egg white until stiff peaks form. Add egg whites, fold in remaining ingredients. Roll out, cut in small strips. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes. May be dropped into hot broth, soup or stew. Simmer, covered for 10 minutes.
