Cooked ice cream

Yield: 12 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 quarts Whole milk
½ cup Flour
3 cups Sugar (up to)
6 \N Eggs; separated
1 pint Cream
1 pinch Salt
\N \N Flavoring

Cook egg yolks, flour & sugar with a little milk in double boiler until thick. When cool, add remaining milk, salt & cream. Beat egg whites until stiff & fold them into milk mixture. Add flavoring & place in ice cream freezer.
