Ingredients

1cupPitted sour red cherries
1cupSliced peaches
6quartsWater
¼cupSugar
½teaspoonSalt
1teaspoonCinnamon
2tablespoonsCornstarch
6tablespoonsSour cream

Directions

Combine the fruit, water, sugar, salt and cinnamon in a saucepan.

Bring to a boil and cook over low heat 15 minutes. Force through a food mill.
