1 | tablespoon | Fresh lime juice |
1 | teaspoon | Minced garlic |
1½ | teaspoon | Chili powder |
½ | teaspoon | Cumin |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
¼ | teaspoon | Oregano |
¼ | teaspoon | Freshly ground pepper |
4 | Pieces cod or halibut fillets; 1 1/2 lbs. | |
2 | teaspoons | Vegetable oil |
1 | tablespoon | Chopped fresh cilantro |
8 | Flour tortillas; heated | |
Lime wedges; for garnish |

1. Make salsa: Combine tomato, lime juice and garlic in medium bowl. Set aside.
2. Combine chili powder, cumin, salt, oregano and pepper in small bowl. Rub mixture on both sides of fish.
3. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add fish and cook until just opaque in center, 3 to 4 minutes per side. Transfer to platter; keep warm. Add salsa to pan; cook, stirring, 1 minute. Pour over fish; sprinkle with cilantro.
Serve with tortillas and lime.
