Measure Ingredient
⅓ cup SUGAR
⅓ cup COCOA
¼ teaspoon SALT
1½ cup WATER
4½ cup MILK
¼ teaspoon VANILLA

MIX ⅓ CUP SUGAR, ⅓ CUP COCOA AND SALT IN A SAUCE PAN. ADD WATER AND HEAT TO BOILING, STIRRING CONSTANTLY. BOIL FOR 2 MINUTES. STIR IN THE MILK. HEAT THROUGH BUT DO NOT BOIL. ADD VANILLA AND STIR IN.
