2cansMinced, chopped or whole baby clams
¼cupOlive oil
2tablespoonsButter
4Cloves garlic chopped
½teaspoonDried thyme
1tablespoonFresh chopped parsley
28ouncesCan of tomato puree
½Of 28 oz can crushed Italian tomatoes
½cupWhite wine
1cupLiquid from clams

Directions

Melt butter in olive oil and saute garlic til golden. Add all other ingredients except clams and simmer 1½ hours. Add salt and pepper to taste. When done, add clams. Serve over cooked spaghetti.
