Yield: 36 cookies
|1 cup||Soft butter|
|¾ cup||Brown sugar|
|2½ cup||Flour - sifted|
|1 cup||Almonds - sliced lengthwise|
|½ cup||Each red and green cherries|
Cream butter, add sugar and then add vanilla, salt and flour.
Finally add nuts and cherries and form into rolls. Leave in ice box overnight. Slice thinly with a sharp knife and bake on greased baking sheet in moderate oven (375 F) for 10 minutes.
