Chocolate-dip cookies

Yield: 3 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Flour
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Baking Powder
1½ tablespoon Maxwell House Instant Coffee
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup Butter or margarine
¾ cup Sugar
1 \N Egg
4 \N Sqrs. Baker's semi-sweet chocolate, melted
¾ cup Finely chopped walnuts or pecans

Chocolate-Dip Cookies

Mix flour with salt and baking powder. Dissolve coffee in the vanilla. Cream butter. Gradually beat in sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy. Add egg and coffee mixture and beat well.

Gradually add flour mixture, beating well after each addition. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 o for 10-12 mins. Cool thoroughly. Dip half of each cookie into melted chocolate and sprinkle with nuts.

Makes 3½ dozen.
