Chocolate celebration cake

Ingredients

| 2⅓ | cup | Sifted flour |
| 1 | pack | (4-oz) instant chocolate pudding |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 | teaspoon | Soda |
| 1½ | cup | Brown sugar; firmly packed |
| ⅔ | cup | Butter |
| 1 | cup | Buttermilk or sour milk |
| 3 | Eggs | |
| 1 | teaspoon | Vanilla |
| 1 | pack | (6-oz) chocolate morsels |
| ¼ | cup | Chopped walnuts (optional) |
Directions
Sift flour with instant pudding, salt and soda. Add brown sugar, butter and buttermilk. Beat 1-½ minutes with mixer on low speed. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat 1-½ minutes. Turn into three greased and floured 8-inch round pans. Use about 1-½ cups batter per pan. Sprinkle chocolate morsels over layers. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. Cool. Frost and decorate with walnuts.
