Chewy oatmeal delights~ ice cream sandwichs

| 1 | tablespoon | Corn syrup |
| 1½ | teaspoon | Baking soda |
| 1 | teaspoon | Vanilla |
| ½ | cup | Raisins |
| 1 | pint | Ice Cream |
Directions

Toss together oats, sugar, and flour. Stir in butter. In a smallbowl combine water, corn syrup, baking soda, vanilla, and raisins. Add to oat mixture and knead lightly until dough comes together. Shape into 18 balls about 1½ in. Flatten slightly on greased sheets, allow aninch for expansion. Bake at 350 for 10 min or until golden.Makes 9 ice cream sandwiches. L.Jordanejordan@....
