Cajun corn & shrimp soup mix with recipe

Measure Ingredient
½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon Paprika
2¾ teaspoon Garlic powder
2 teaspoons Black pepper
1½ teaspoon Onion powder
1½ teaspoon Oregano leaves
1½ teaspoon Thyme leaves
5 Vegetable bouillon cubes, crumbled SOUP:
½ cup Butter
1 medium Onion, chopped
¼ cup Flour
1 tablespoon Soup mix
3 cups Boiling water
3 cups Freshly scraped or frozen corn kernals
¾ pounds Shrimp, cleaned
½ cup Heavy cream

Mix: Combine and store in an airtight container.

Soup: Saute onion in butter 3 minutes. Add flour and cook, stirring constantly. Stir in the soup mix and gradually add the boiling water, whisking until the mixture is thick.
