Buttered rum glaze

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
¼ cup Butter or margarine; plus 2 tablespoons
¾ cup Sugar
3 tablespoons Rum
3 tablespoons Water
½ cup Chopped walnuts

Combine all ingredients except walnuts in small saucepan; bring to a boil.

Boil mix, stirring constantly, 3 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in chopped walnuts. Pour over cake while glaze is warm.

Makes 1¼ cup
