½ cup | Butter; creamed |
½ cup | Brown sugar |
1 \N | Egg yolk; beaten |
1 cup | Flour |
\N \N | Egg white |
\N \N | Ground nuts |
Beat egg white until stiff. Roll dough in little balls, size of walnut.
Then roll in egg white and ground nuts. Press thumb in center to leave small print. Bake 8 minutes; remove from oven. Fill center with jam or maraschino cherry. Bake for 5 minutes more.
