Comance fried frog legs

2 | pounds | frog legs |
½ | cup | cooking oil |
1 | egg, well beaten | |
½ | teaspoon | salt |
½ | cup | cornmeal |
¼ | teaspoon | pepper |
Directions
Mix the cornmeal, egg, salt and peper together with enough water to form a batter. Place the oil in an iron skillet and dip the frog legs into the batter and cook for about 30 minutes until they are brown on all sides.
