2cupsTomatoes, plum Italian (canned, reserve liquid) chopped
2cupsTomato sauce
12ouncesBeans, Kidney red cooked and drained
12ouncesBeans, Pinto cooked
2tablespoonsSugar, granulated
3Bay leaves
3Allspice, whole
1tablespoonChili Powder
1teaspoonOregano, dried
½teaspoonPepper, black freshly ground
¼teaspoonCumin, ground
¼teaspoonPepper, red ground

Directions

In medium nonstick skillet, heat oil, add onions, celery, and garlic; cook over medium heat until softened, about 2 minutes.

Place vegetables and remaining ingredients in slow-cooker; stir to combine. Cook on low setting 4 hours.
