|1 cup||Red cinnamon candies|
|6 mediums||Apples;peeled, cored, quartered|
Combine water and sugar in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Add candies, stirring constantly until melted.
Place apples in a 7-1/2x11-¾" baking dish; pour candy syrup over apples. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Turn apples over; bake 20 additional minutes, basting frequently with syrup.
NOTE: Whole baking apples may be substituted for wedges. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes, basting frequently.
