Australian honey bars

Yield: 36 servings

Measure Ingredient
¾ cup Butter
½ cup Honey
3 Eggs
1½ cup Flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1 cup Dried raisins
¾ cup Minced walnuts

Beat butter and honey into cream. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add flour, baking soda, raisins and walnuts.

Pour in a 9x9-inch greased mold. Bake at 325 F (or 180 C) for 30 minutes until dough is firm.

Before serving, sprinkle with icing sugar.

Makes 36"squares".
