Artichokes a la grecque

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Water
1 pack (10 oz.) of frozen artichokes
3 tablespoons Lemon juice
¼ cup Olive oil
3 \N Peppercorns
1 pinch Thyme
1 pinch Fennel seed
1 pinch Coriander seed
1 small Bay leaf

1. In a large, heavy skillet, cook artichokes in boiling water for 5 minutes. Add all remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

2. Cool in cooking liquid. Serve artichokes with 4 tbsp of this liquid.
