Applesauce date nut bread

Ingredients

| ⅔ | cup | Butter or margarine |
| 1¼ | cup | Sugar |
| 4 | Eggs | |
| 1½ | cup | Applesauce |
| ½ | cup | Milk |
| 4 | cups | Flour |
| 2 | teaspoons | Baking powder |
| 1 | teaspoon | Baking soda |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 | tablespoon | Grated lemon rind |
| 1 | cup | Chopped pecans |
| ½ | cup | Chopped raisins |
| ½ | cup | Chopped dates |
Directions
Cream together butter & sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in applesauce & milk. Combine dry ingredients; add to applesauce mixture & mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into 2 greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until bread tests done. Cool on rack for 10 minutes. Remove bread from pan & finish cooling on rack.
