Applesauce crock pot

Measure Ingredient
8 larges Cooking apples
½ cup Water
⅔ cup Sugar (white or brown)
1 teaspoon Pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon
1 pinch Nutmeg

In the crock pot, place the peeled, cored, and quartered apples. A little lemon juice helps the apples not to discolor. Add sugar, spices, and water. Cook high for 3 hours; low cook for 8 hours. Cook on low for breakfast the next morning.
