2 | tablespoons | All-purpose flour. |
1 | teaspoon | Cinnamon. |
⅛ | teaspoon | Nutmeg. |
⅛ | teaspoon | Salt. Juice of 1 lemon. |
7 | mediums | Tart cooking apples,pared,cored and thinly sliced. |
3 | tablespoons | Butter or margarine. Kitchenaid pie pastry for double crust 9-inch pie. |
Directions
INSTRUCTIONS:Combine sugar,flour,cinnamon,nutmeg,lemon juice and salt;mix with apples.
Divide pastry in half.Roll to ⅛ inch thickness and line a 9-inchpie plate.Fill with apple mixture and dot with butter.Roll outremaining crust and place on pie.Cut slits for steam to escapeand seal edges.Sprinkle with sugar lightly.
Bake at 400^F for 50 minutes. YIELD:One 9-inch pie.
