Apple jelly spread

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Unsweetened apple juice
1 teaspoon Lemon juice
6 larges Or 8 small whole cloves
2 teaspoons Granulated gelatin
½ cup Water
\N \N Artificial sweetener to subs For 3/4 cup sugar
\N \N Few drops red food color

Recipe by: Tampa Bay Online Combine fruit juices and cloves in heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil; simmer gently 10 minutes. Meanwhile, soak gelatin in cold water. Remove juices from heat; discard cloves; add gelatin and artificial sweetener and mix well. Add about 3 drops red food color; mix well. Pour carefully into two hot, clean half-pint jars. Cover lightly until cooled. Cover tightly and refrigerate.
