All purpose pickling solution

Measure Ingredient
1 teaspoon Salt Per Quart Of Water
1 \N Clove Garlic
1 \N Stalk Of Celery, Sliced
1 \N Carrot, Sliced
1 \N Hot Chili Pepper
1 \N Bay Leaf
8 \N Spice Balls
1 \N Bud Of Dill
1 pounds Washed Pickling Cucumbers

Combine all ingredients, except cucumbers, in a pan and bring to a boil. Then prick the cucumbers with a fork and add to pickling solution. Put in jars and seal. Let stand for 3 weeks before eating. Typed by Syd Bigger.
