Zucchini orange salad

| 1 | cup | Chopped celery |
| 1 | can | Green beans -- drained 16 |

| 1 | can | Wax beans -- drained 16 oz |
| 1 | can | Mandarin oranges -- 15 oz |
| Drained | ||
| 1 | can | Waterchestnuts -- 8 oz |
| Drained &sliced | ||
| 1½ | cup | Sugar |
| 1 | tablespoon | Water |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
Directions
In a large bowl, toss zucchini, onion and celery. Cover with boiling water; let stand for 1 hr. Drain. Add beans, oranges and water chestnuts. combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil; boil for 1 min. Pour over salad; cover and refrigerate 24 hr.
before serving. Yield: 16 to 20 serving. "Edditor Note; Home-canned or fresh green and wax beans can be substituted for puchased canned beans. Use 2 cups of each, and if using fresh beans, cook until crisp-tender before adding to salad.
