Wilted greens with pears & walnuts

Ingredients

2eachesLeeks, chopped, white parts only
6cupsKohlrabi leaves, torn
2eachesPears, peeled, cored & sliced
1pinchSalt
¼teaspoonCinnamon
¼cupWalnuts, chopped
1tablespoonToasted sesame oil
Black pepper, to taste

Directions

Place leeks & kohlrabi leaves (washed but not dried) in a covered pot & steam them for 5 minutes. Drain.

Bake the pears, salt, cinnamon & walnuts in an oven preheated to 350F for 15 minutes. Combine with leeks & kohlrabi & sprinkle with oil & pepper. Serve.
