White-cooked cubed pork

Ingredients

| 2 | pounds | Pork |
| ½ | cup | Sherry |
| 4 | cups | Water |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 | tablespoon | Sugar |
Directions
1. Cut pork in 1-½ inch cubes. Place in a heavy pan with sherry, water and salt. Bring to a boil; then simmer, covered, until tender (about 1 hour).
2. Add sugar and simmer 10 minutes more.
