White clam sauce for pasta

Ingredients

3Cloves garlic, crushed or minced (up to 4)
¼cupButter
cupOlive oil
2cansSnows chopped clams, undrained
¼cupWhite wine
Pepper to taste
1tablespoonChopped parsley (up to 2)
Salt to taste

Directions

Cook garlic in butter and olive oil until limp. Add clams, wine, parsley, and pepper, and simmer until slightly thickened. Add salt if necessary to taste.
