Wheat pilaf

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
1 cup Fresh mushrooms (your choice as to type), sliced
1 small Onion, finely chopped
½ cup Pecans, chopped
1 tablespoon Fresh thyme leaves
½ cup Instant bulgar
3 cups Chicken or vegetable broth
⅓ cup Golden raisins

Heat 3 Tbl. of butter in skillet over high heat; saute mushrooms, onion, pecans, and thyme until onion is translucent. Add dry bulgar and saute for an additional 2 minutes. Stir in the broth, raisins, and remaining butter.

Cook for time recommended on bulgar package, or until broth is mostly absorbed. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Serves 4.
