Western casserole (paulette valois)

Yield: 4 to 6 servi

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Beef; Ground
1 can Red Kidney Beans
1 cup Cheese, Shredded Sharp
1 can Corn; Kernel, drained
1 can Tomato Soup
¼ cup Milk
½ teaspoon Chili
1 teaspoon Onion; minced
2 tablespoons Butter
¼ cup Cornmeal; yellow
10 Biscuits

Brown Beef. Stir in corn, Beans, Soup, Cheese, Milk, Onion, and Chili powder. Bring to Boil. Turn mixture into 2 quart casserole. Bake uncovered at 400F for 10 minutes. Dip Biscuits in cornmeal. Place on edge of boiling hot casserole. Bake 20 minutes longer or until biscuits are golden.
