MARINATE
Slice deer tenderloins (no fat) about ¼ inch. Place in zip-lock bag with marinate.
Marinate: Marinate at least overnight. Two, three days won't hurt.
Place on smoker (offset heat) at 170 degrees for 3 to 4 hours (can be done on a grill). Turn and move several times to and from your heat source.
Brush with the marinate during cooking.
When done they will be like a soft jerky. Quite tastee.
