Trout with almonds and apples

Ingredients

6Whole cleaned trout
Flour
¼cupCooking oil
1tablespoonButter
Salt and pepper to taste
1cupBlanched almonds
½cupMelted butter or margarine
2Peeled and coarsley chopped
Apples
½cupThinly sliced mushrooms
½tablespoonLemon juice
¼cupChopped fresh parsley

Directions

Preheat oven to 400. Wash the trout and pat dry. Coat them lightly with flour and fry in the oil/btter combination until crisp. Season them with salt and pepper. Set them aside onan oven proof platter.

Saute the almonds in butter or margarine unti golden. Mix them with the apples, mushrooms and lemon juice and pour over the fish. bake for 10 minutes and garnish with chopped parsley to serve.
