Measure Ingredient
½ pounds Lean ground beef
½ pounds Ground pork
1 Onion, chopped
1 Clove, garlic
½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Savory or thyme
¼ teaspoon Celery salt
¼ teaspoon Ground cloves
½ cup Water

In a pot mix together ½ lb each lean ground beef and ½ lb ground pork and all other ingredients and bring to a boil. Turn down to simmer for 20 minutes. Add ½ cup breadcrumbs spoon by spoon until the fat is absorbed. Cool mixture. Pour into uncooked pie shell. Add the top crust. Cook 25 minutes in a preheated 450F oven. Source: The Canadian Heritage
