Tomato and basil salad

Measure Ingredient
1 \N Clove garlic; chopped
6 \N Vine-ripened plum tomatoes; roughly diced
¼ \N Red onion; chopped
12 \N Basil leaves
1 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
4 tablespoons Olive oil; (4 to 5)
\N \N Salt and black pepper

Place the tomatoes, garlic, red onion and basil in a large bowl. Drizzle the vinegar and olive oil over the salad and toss.

Season with pepper and salt and leave at room temperature for an hour or two before serving.
