Sweet peanut soup

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
6 cups Water
2 teaspoons Boking soda
2 cups Raw peanuts (up to)
1 cup Brown sugar

1. Heat water to lukewarm; then stir in baking soda.

2. Add raw peanuts and bring to a boil. Then simmer, covered, until completely softened (about 1-½ hours).

3. Add brown sugar and cook, stirring, until dissolved. Serve hot, in small bowls.
