Swedish cabbage rolls

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
6 eaches Large cabbage leaves
1 each Egg, beaten
¼ cup Milk
¼ cup Onion, minced
8 ounces Tomato sauce
1 tablespoon Brown sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Black pepper
1 pounds Ground beef
1 cup Rice, cooked
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce



CABBAGE ROLLS: Boil cabbage leaves until limp. Combine egg, milk, onion, salt, pepper, beef and cooked rice. Divide into 6 portions.

Place each portion into a cabbage leaf, fold in sides and roll over.

Place in slow cooker pot.

SAUCE: Combine tomato sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice and worcestershire sauce. Pour over cabbage rolls in slow cooker pot.

Cover and cook on low 7 to 9 hours.
