Swedish ammonia cookies (drommar)

Yield: 1 batch

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Butter
1⅛ cup Sugar
2 cups Enriched flour
1 teaspoon Vanilla
teaspoon Ammonia salt, scant ts`

Cream butter; add sugar and creamthoroughly, using an electric beater if possible. Beat in sifted flour, ammonia salt, and vanilla.

Refrigerate for a few hours then shape into small balls and bake at 300 F. *JJ* 8/29/95
