Swedish ammonia cookies (drommar)

| 1 | cup | Butter |
| 1⅛ | cup | Sugar |
| 2 | cups | Enriched flour |
| 1 | teaspoon | Vanilla |
| teaspoon | Ammonia salt, scant ts` | |
Directions
Cream butter; add sugar and creamthoroughly, using an electric beater if possible. Beat in sifted flour, ammonia salt, and vanilla.
Refrigerate for a few hours then shape into small balls and bake at 300 F. *JJ* 8/29/95
