Sujika halwa (semolina halwa)

2 | tablespoons | Ghee |
2 | Green cardamom; crushed | |
½ | pint | Milk |
2 | ounces | White sugar; up to 3 |
Pistachio nuts; finely chopped, to | ||
; garnish |
Directions
Dry fry semolina over medium heat until nearly brown. Add ghee and cardamom pods and stir for 3-4 minutes. Lower the heat slightly and add milk, bit by bit, stirring in continuously. Stir in sugar and serve, garnish with pistachio.
The consistency of the halwa should be dry.
