|3 tablespoons||Ground cinnamon|
|2 tablespoons||Ground cloves|
|1 tablespoon||Ground nutmeg|
|1 tablespoon||Anise seed|
|1 teaspoon||Ground ginger|
Add to one quart water. Bring to boil. Reduce to simmer. Continue to add water as the level goes down. The spices will get gunky in there, but I just stir every few hours. After about a week of constant adding of new water, I clean out the crocker and make a new batch.
