Steamed blueberry pudding

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Sifted flour
1½ teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Shortening
½ cup Dry bread crumbs
½ cup Sugar
1 \N Egg, beaten
⅔ cup Milk
1½ cup Blueberries

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Cut in shortening and add bread crumbs and sugar. Add egg and milk, mix thoroughly and carefully fold in blueberries. Pour into greased mold, cover and steam for 2 hours. Serve with any sweet pudding sauce.
