Squash au gratin

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
3 cups Cooked squash
1 medium Onion
2 tablespoons Butter
2 tablespoons Flour
1 cup Milk
3 teaspoons Bread crumbs
2 \N Eggs; well beaten
1 teaspoon Sugar
1 teaspoon Laureleaf seasoning
\N can Grated American cheese

Cook squash with onion in saucepan and a little water about 30 minutes.

Drain and mash sqaush and onion. Make a white sauce by melting butter and adding flour stirring constantly. Add milk. Mix with all other ingredients and put in casserole dish. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until slightly brown.
