Spareribs with black beans

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Pork Spareribs -- 1\"
\N \N Lengths
3 tablespoons Soy Sauce, Light
2 tablespoons Dry Sherry
3 \N Cloves Garlic -- chopped
\N \N Fine
1 tablespoon Fermented Black Beans --
\N \N Rinsed and mashed
\N pinch Brown Sugar
½ teaspoon Monosodium Glutamate
1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
1 teaspoon Garlic And Red Chili Paste
\N \N Or to taste
2 tablespoons Cornstarch
2 \N Green Onions -- chopped
½ \N Green Bell Pepper --
\N \N Julienned

Place the spareribs pieces in a colander and pour 2 qts. boiling water over them, (do this over the sink). Drain well and stir-fry until lightly browned. Drain fat and place them in a boil. Add all other ingredients except the onions and green pepper. Mix well and then add the onions and green pepper. Place in a steaming dish and steam for 1 hour and fifteen minutes. They will be very tender and delicious.
