: ¾ c walnuts, finely chopped 1½ ts ground cinnamon
: 2 c sugar, divided
: ¾ c margarine or butter : 3 c flour
1 ½ c sour cream
: 3 eggs
1 ½ ts baking powder
1 ½ ts baking soda
1 ½ ts vanilla extract
About 2 hours before serving: In small bowl combine nuts, cinnamon and ¾ cup sugar. Grease 10 inch tube pan. In large bowl beat butter or margarine on medium speed of electric mixer with 1 ¼ cups sugar, until fluffly. Add flour and remaining ingredients and beat on low speed constantly scraping bowl with spatula. Increase speed to medium; beat 3 minutes and scrape bowl. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spread half of batter into pan; sprinkle with half of nut mixture.
Spread evenly with remaining batter and sprinkle with remaining nut mixture. Bake for 60-65 minutes until cake pulls away from side of pan. Cool completely before serving. Walt MM +0000
