Soft pretzels

1pack(1/4 oz.) active dry yeast
cupWarm water (110-115 degrees)
1tablespoonSugar
1teaspoonSalt
4cupsFlour
1eachEgg, beaten
Coarse salt

Directions

In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in water. Add the sugar, salt and enough flour to make a soft dough. Turn onto a floured board; knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes. Pinch off about 2 Tbsp.
