Shrimp stuffed baked pike

| ¾ | teaspoon | White pepper |
| ¾ | teaspoon | Paprika |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Ginger |
| SHRIMP STUFFING | ||
| 2 | cups | Chopped tomatoes (fresh) |
| 1 | cup | Water or clam juice |
| ½ | cup | Chopped onion |
| 3 | Cloves | |
| 1 | Bay leaf | |
| 3 | tablespoons | Sweet butter |
| 2 | tablespoons | Flour |
| 4 | Strips lean bacon | |
Directions
Season fish inside & out with salt, pepper, paprika & ginger. Stuff fish & sew closed. Cook together tomatoes, water, onion, cloves & bay leaf in med size saucepan for 20 minutes. Melt butter; blend in flour & cook, stirring, over low heat until thick & smooth. Mix butter-flour with tomato mixture; cook 10 minutes then strain. Place fish in shallow roasting pan; lay bacon over fish & top with half the tomato sauce. Bake in 325 oven for 1 hour, basting during baking.
Serve remaining sauce with fish.
