Shortcut strawberry shortcake

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 pack (12-oz) Entenmann's all-butter pound loaf
1 pint Strawberries; hulled, sliced and sweetened to taste
1 carton (8-oz) Cool Whip whipped topping; thawed

Directions

1. Cut cake into 14 slices. Place 7 of the slices on individual dessert plates.

2. Arrange half of the strawberries on cake slices. Top each with ⅓ cup whipped topping.

3. Repeat layers, ending with a dollop of whipped topping.

4. Serve.
