Shortcut strawberry shortcake

Ingredients

1 | pack | (12-oz) Entenmann's all-butter pound loaf |
1 | pint | Strawberries; hulled, sliced and sweetened to taste |
1 | carton | (8-oz) Cool Whip whipped topping; thawed |
Directions
1. Cut cake into 14 slices. Place 7 of the slices on individual dessert plates.
2. Arrange half of the strawberries on cake slices. Top each with ⅓ cup whipped topping.
3. Repeat layers, ending with a dollop of whipped topping.
4. Serve.
