Sean's cream substitute

Ingredients

10½ounceLow-fat silken tofu
1cupPlain rice dream
1teaspoonCrushed red pepper flakes
2teaspoonsDried basil
2Pinches salt

Directions

Place everything in a blender and process until smooth. Can be refrigerated. Adjust seasonings for other dishes. Makes 2-½ cups for ½-cup servings.

Tip: Add this "cream" to tomato sauce for a great pink sauce. Note-- Use this great recipe as a healthy substitute for the cream in most soups and pasta sauces.JM.
